Pop-Up Holiday Market December 5th!

Deck the DPAC If you missed our sale last weekend (we had a blast!), not to worry. We (my mom and I, plus more than 20 other talented artists) will be participating in a pop-up holiday market. Yahoo!!

Next Friday (that's December 5th), we will be in downtown Denver at the Backstage Coffee Art Gallery (located in the DPAC complex) peddling our wares at the "Deck the DPAC's" pop up holiday market. Featuring metal work, ceramics and glass sculptures, paintings, jewelry, photography, art prints and wearable art, this is a one night only event where you're sure to find that lovely, unique gift.

5:30-10pm, Art Gallery at Backstage Coffee, 1000 14th St, Denver.

The event coincides Denver's First Friday Art Walks, and the 40th Annual Parade of Lights--so the festive energy will be bubbling over. AND...the bar will be open so come out and say hello!

Sale Tomorrow AND Chihuly!!

Come on down: I'll be selling prints (framed, unframed, and stretched canvases) tomorrow, November 22nd at my mom's fantastic Jewelry Home Sale. We'll be there from 10am-4pm, with coffee in the morning and bubbly in the afternoon. Get some shopping done early and toast the holidays with us!

915 Steele St, Denver | 10am-4pm

A few weeks ago, the family and I took a trip to Denver to see the Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The Gardens are wonderful to wander through on their own, but the addition of Dale Chihuly's whimsical glass forms was truly a treat.

I want my work to appear like it came from nature, so that if someone found it on a beach or in the forest, they might think it belonged there.

It makes my heart happy that there is an artist out there who spends his days playing (very successfully!) with these colored glass forms:

The show runs through the end of the month so there's still time if you want to go.

And don't forget, I’m donating 10% of the proceeds from my online store to Arts Street, a local non-profit program that creates opportunities for the young people of Colorado. Their mission is to “…cultivate low-income and under-served youth into a creative and culturally competent workforce. We use the power of the arts and arts professionals to nurture leadership and engage youth in learning.”
